This yarn is based on bulked (expanded) PTFE continuous filament, fully impregnated with PTFE emulsion and sintered. It combines soft conformability of bulked PTFE with dense structure after PTFE impregnation, featuring excellent compressibility, very low leakage, low required gland force, no hardening and good chemical inertness.
Specially designed for low-emission valve sealing, instrument sealing, food and pharmaceutical equipment, and applications requiring low gland stress and zero leakage. It can seal well even on slightly damaged or irregular sealing surfaces.
