Bulked (expanded) continuous PTFE filament yarn, specially processed to have bulky and soft texture with excellent elasticity and conformability. It features very low friction, good compressibility, no fiber shedding, excellent chemical inertness and superior sealing performance compared with regular PTFE filament.
Mainly used for high-grade low-leakage PTFE packings, valve stem seals, food and pharmaceutical sealing, and applications requiring soft sealing and low gland force.
